On June 28, the Vanke School of Public Health (VSPH), Tsinghua University held its 2026 Graduation Ceremony, bringing together more than 120 faculty members, graduates, families, and friends to celebrate 44 members of the Class of 2026.

The ceremony opened with musical performances by Chinese and international students. Twelve graduates from the Master of Public Health in Global Health program performed A Million Dreams and shared graduation wishes representing 12 countries and regions.


Dean Margaret Chan congratulated the graduates and reflected on the opportunities and challenges facing global health. She encouraged them to draw on the knowledge, research skills, interdisciplinary perspectives, teamwork, and global competencies they had developed at VSPH to address public health challenges and contribute to better health worldwide.


Graduate representatives He Jinyu, Kuang Yi, and Abu shared reflections on their academic journeys, personal growth, and commitment to public health. Outstanding graduates were also recognized for achievements in academics, research, social engagement, and service.


Professor Wang Kaibo, Secretary of the CPC VSPH Committee, welcomed the graduates into Tsinghua’s global alumni community and encouraged them to carry forward the Tsinghua spirit and make meaningful contributions in their future careers.


The ceremony concluded with the Tsinghua University anthem. Graduates were encouraged to uphold the principle of “Leave no one behind,” using their expertise to protect health and serve society.
