He was the Vice Head of the Industrial Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, Vice Dean of the Graduate School, Tsinghua University, and Chairman of Quality, Statistics and Reliability (QSR) branch of INFORMS Society. He served as the Secretary General of the National Industrial Engineering Education and Instruction Commission, Department Editor of IISE Transactions, and the Associate Editor of INFORMS Journal on Data Science.
