Prof. Feng Cheng is a Chief Physician, Assistant Dean at Vanke School of Public Health and Vice Dean at the Institute for Healthy China, Tsinghua University. His research is focused on infectious diseases prevention and control, health systems and policy.

Formerly Prof. Cheng served as the Deputy Director of the Research Center for Public Health and the Deputy Secretary General of the School of Medicine at Tsinghua University, and also the editor-in-chief of Social Medicine (Textbook). He taught postgraduate courses including Social Medicine, Healthcare Management, and Health & Nutrition.

At present, Prof. Cheng holds the positions of the executive vice chairman and secretary general of the Committee of Public Health and Security of China Association for Public Safety, vice president of the Global Health Branch of the China Health Economics Association, and a member of the editorial board member of Global Health Journal.
